I am sure the above clip has spoken to your heart. You see the father had no option but to surrender himself for you. You are the reason for His unconditional love. I want to give you basic understanding of why we need Jesus.
1. We are created in the image and in the likeness of God to have fellowship with Him.
2. Man disobeyed God and went His way and this broke the fellowship with Him. (Definition of SIN)
3. Sin began to master our world( thoughts, emotions and actions) and caused us to serve the devil.
4. The wages of sin is eternal separation from our heavenly father that is to suffer eternally in Hell.
5. Hell is place for them that do not believe in Christ Jesus who is the author of life. Sin separates us from Life(Jesus)
6. But God so loved you that He came to earth and died for your sins, He took your place for the punishment of your sins( past , present and future) so that you may have relationship with God and have eternal life.
7. You can experience God's love and be saved from the judgment of God by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
A simple prayer to start with:
Dear daddy, I am sorry for my sins and going my own way. I believe that you died for me on the cross for all my sins and showed me your unconditional love. I repent of all my sins( thoughts and deeds) and from now i will only serve you and do your will. I am your child and you are my dad forever. Amen

1. Finding good Christian friends who you find serious with God.
2. Browse websites , search through social networking sites LIKE FACEBOOK, ORKUT , My space, etc

Be cautious of :
1. False churches or ministries that has no bible based teachings. Always search for the scripture to scan their teachings.
2. Buy a good bible with old and new testament( I recommend " amplified version")
3. Read your bible and seek God every day.
